The State of the Planet is a joint project between the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and El País. The publication series addresses some of the world’s biggest development challenges, including climate change, malnutrition and water scarcity.
Global Parliamentary Summit Against Hunger and Malnutrition
Held in Madrid, Spain, in 2018, the Global Parliamentary Summit Against Hunger and Malnutrition was the first meeting of its kind. It brought together policymakers from Africa, Asia and Europe to highlight the role legislative bodies can play in the fight against hunger and malnutrition.
